AI/ML Architect
Job Summary
To shape AI systems within the VHA, the full-time remote AI/ML Architect will work with program and project leaders to define architectural documents, draft reference architectures, and provide technical consultation for early-stage AI products.
Key responsibilities
- Define and create architectural depictions and documents for AI systems across the VHA enterprise
- Draft reference architectures and recommend MLOps standards for VHA adoption
- Provide technical consultation to early-stage AI products from concept through deployment readiness
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of software or systems architecture experience, preferably 10 years
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; MS preferred
- Experience with a variety of software programs and languages, with some programming experience
- Cloud architect certification (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
