AI / ML Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the AI / ML Consultant will collaborate with technology and private equity companies to assess technology strengths and risks, design solutions, and implement improvements in AI and machine learning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify improvements in existing technology and processes used to develop software products and services
• Conduct technical due diligence for private equity firms, outlining technology strengths and risks for potential investments
• Design and implement solutions using Agile methodologies while mentoring junior developers and engineers

Required qualifications

• Expert-level experience in Data Science and AI domains, including machine learning and data mining
• Current knowledge of the LLM landscape and model training techniques
• Experience with ML Ops, cloud hosting options, and related tooling
• Familiarity with multi-modal AI applications, including text, NLP, voice, images, and video
• Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field
