AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the AI/ML Engineer will design and develop advanced AI solutions for healthcare applications, focusing on model implementation, architecture design, and cloud deployment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning models tailored for healthcare applications
• Design agent architectures and build scalable Python services, automation workflows, and data pipelines
• Collaborate on evaluating AI models and ensure compliance with healthcare data standards

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, health science, or related field with at least one year of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with three years of experience, or a high school diploma with seven years of experience
• Over seven years of hands-on experience in software and machine learning engineering, particularly with AI or large language models
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with APIs and asynchronous programming
• Practical experience designing and deploying autonomous AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or similar
• Hands-on cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including cloud-native deployment patterns
