AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the AI/ML Engineer will develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning models for healthcare applications, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance patient outcomes and streamline healthcare workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI systems, including large language model integrations and scalable Python services
• Deploy AI solutions in cloud environments, ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards
• Collaborate on evaluating AI models and contribute to the development of AI agent frameworks

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, health science, or related field with at least one year of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with three years of experience, or a high school diploma with seven years of experience
• Over seven years of hands-on experience in software and machine learning engineering, particularly with AI or large language models
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with APIs and asynchronous programming
• Practical experience in designing and deploying AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph
• Hands-on cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including cloud-native deployment patterns
