Job Summary
To support mission workflows, the full-time AI/ML Engineer will design, build, integrate, and deploy AI and machine learning capabilities in secure government cloud environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and integrate AI/ML capabilities using FedRAMP-authorized services in AWS GovCloud, spanning the entire AI/ML lifecycle
- Develop production-quality AI/ML applications and services using Python, ensuring alignment with mission and business requirements
- Design and implement Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation patterns, integrating them with enterprise applications and mission data sources
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Experience with Generative AI, foundation models, and RAG architectures
- Experience with supervised or unsupervised machine learning, feature engineering, model training, and model selection
- Familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps practices for model and application lifecycle management
- Experience deploying containerized workloads and microservices in security-sensitive environments
