AI/ML Engineer - Speech Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a client in Santa Clara, CA, the remote Contract AI/ML Engineer - Speech Data Scientist will analyze model performance, maintain TTS model evaluation systems, and improve speech data processing and training sets.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and benchmark model performance while analyzing accuracy and bias
• Maintain and enhance TTS model evaluation systems and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product features and improvements

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, specifically with speech technologies
• Proficient programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch
• Strong knowledge of ML/DL techniques and algorithms, particularly in speech synthesis
• Experience with speech model training and digital signal processing techniques
