AI/ML Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Hands-on and technically proficient, the full-time AI/ML Engineering Lead will oversee the design and delivery of production ML and GenAI systems on Azure Databricks, mentoring engineers and ensuring model reliability and compliance in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of production ML and GenAI systems from problem framing to deployment and monitoring
- Set technical direction and standards for the ML lifecycle, ensuring adherence by the team
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentoring to ML and data engineers through design and code reviews
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in software, data, or ML engineering, with experience in production ML systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience across the end-to-end ML lifecycle and common ML frameworks
- Hands-on MLOps experience with MLflow and Azure Databricks
- Experience delivering GenAI/LLM applications and familiarity with modern data stack tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
