AI/ML Scientist

Job Summary

To support innovative healthcare solutions, the full-time remote AI/ML Scientist will implement and evaluate generative models on clinical records and genomic data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of clinical variant interpretation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Train and evaluate models using longitudinal clinical records and genomic data to predict disease onset
• Build and maintain evaluation pipelines while addressing data quality issues in healthcare datasets
• Present findings to team and leadership, including drafting scientific writeups and contributing to external publications

Required qualifications

• MS or PhD in machine learning, computer science, statistics, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of applied machine learning experience, with strong PhD work considered
• Solid Python programming skills, including experience with training loops and debugging
• Working knowledge of statistics and familiarity with healthcare data standards
• Genuine interest in biology and a willingness to learn about genomics
