Job Summary
To support innovative healthcare solutions, the full-time remote AI/ML Scientist will implement and evaluate generative models on clinical records and genomic data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of clinical variant interpretation tools.
Key responsibilities
- Train and evaluate models using longitudinal clinical records and genomic data to predict disease onset
- Build and maintain evaluation pipelines while addressing data quality issues in healthcare datasets
- Present findings to team and leadership, including drafting scientific writeups and contributing to external publications
Required qualifications
- MS or PhD in machine learning, computer science, statistics, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of applied machine learning experience, with strong PhD work considered
- Solid Python programming skills, including experience with training loops and debugging
- Working knowledge of statistics and familiarity with healthcare data standards
- Genuine interest in biology and a willingness to learn about genomics
