AI/ML Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time AI/ML Software Engineer who will design, build, and deploy secure software and data systems in a remote environment, focusing on APIs, data pipelines, and distributed computing to support mission operations and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs and data pipelines while developing software using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Build and deploy containerized, cloud-native services using Docker and Kubernetes, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code for efficient deployment
• Collaborate with system engineers to develop distributed systems and data integration frameworks, ensuring interoperability across software ecosystems

Required qualifications

• 6-10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps or Zero-Trust processes in Department of Defense environments
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or TypeScript/Angular
• Experience building containerized, cloud-native solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and message buses like Kafka or Redis
