AI Model Developer Contractor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Computational Drug Discovery AI Model Development Contractor will support the development, fine-tuning, and benchmarking of AI/ML models for computational drug discovery applications across multiple lead optimization programs.

Key responsibilities:

• Create scalable workflows to produce 3D structures and affinity predictions from protein and ligand sequences with minimal manual intervention
• Compile datasets, train and evaluate models, and establish reproducible benchmarking across various lead optimization projects
• Optimize workflows for efficiency, ensuring that predictions can be generated in under one minute on GPU or CPU resources

Required qualifications:

• Strong experience in machine learning, computational chemistry, cheminformatics, or related scientific data science domains
• Experience in training and fine-tuning models on domain-specific scientific datasets
• Working knowledge of benchmarking methodologies and model performance evaluation
• Experience with 3D modeling workflows and pose generation
• Strong scripting and automation skills, preferably in Python
