AI Model Risk Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for identifying, assessing, validating, and monitoring model risks associated with AI technologies, the full-time AI Model Risk Manager will execute model risk assessments, perform independent reviews, and support governance of AI models in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute model risk assessments and validation activities across the AI model lifecycle
• Perform independent reviews and challenges of AI and machine learning models, focusing on design, methodology, and performance metrics
• Maintain and support the enterprise model inventory to ensure accurate documentation and governance of AI models

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in model risk management, model validation, or related disciplines
• Hands-on experience with model risk assessments and validation of AI/ML models
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including large language models and generative AI
• Experience developing and maintaining model documentation and inventory information
