AI Operating System Director

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the CEO, the full-time Head of AI Operating System will architect and implement an autonomous-agent AI Operating System for the company, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive measurable business impact across all internal operations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to define and defend the internal AI strategy and operating priorities
• Architect and ship agentic workflows that automate or enhance business processes while building the foundational semantic and data layer
• Establish and govern the AI program, including evaluation, compliance, and monitoring of AI tools and initiatives

Required qualifications

• Top-tier academic background in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics; a graduate degree is a plus
• 6-10 years of progressive experience in technical AI/ML roles, strategy consulting, or high-performance SaaS companies, including hands-on building experience
• Proven expertise in applying frontier AI models in production environments
• Strong understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and risk management, particularly in regulated industries
• Ability to navigate and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, demonstrating strong executive presence
