AI Operations Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time remote AI Operations Engineer, the successful candidate will partner with teams to identify operational challenges, build and implement AI agents and workflows, and drive adoption of AI solutions while ensuring responsible design and governance.
Key responsibilities
- Identify high-value automation opportunities and build production-grade AI agents and workflows integrated with existing tools
- Drive user adoption through documentation, training, and continuous measurement of solution effectiveness
- Implement safety and governance measures in AI workflows, ensuring compliance and reliability throughout the development process
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software, applied AI, data, or automation engineering
- Hands-on experience with building agentic AI and integrating APIs
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
- Strong systems thinking and ability to identify dependencies and failure modes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem is a plus
