Job Summary
Owning Mercury's internal knowledge infrastructure, the full-time AI Operations Lead will build and maintain a trusted context layer that captures and organizes company information, driving operational insights and facilitating AI functionality in a remote or onsite capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the knowledge infrastructure, ensuring accurate and useful information architecture and governance
- Design the knowledge layer by collaborating with AI Engineering to create schemas, automations, and validation workflows
- Lead the reporting layer development to convert shared context into operational insights for leadership and planning
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in program or product operations, technical program management, or product management
- Strong systems design and knowledge architecture skills, capable of simplifying complex information
- Familiarity with technical systems, including APIs, data models, and tools like Linear and GitHub
- Hands-on experience using AI for workflows, automations, or agents, with an understanding of LLMs
- Ability to influence through strong judgment and clear communication in ambiguous environments
