AI Optimization Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AI Optimization Engineer to lead and define optimization capabilities across its product suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the technical strategy for optimization use cases across the product portfolio
• Design, implement, and benchmark optimization algorithms, ensuring practical usability for end-users
• Drive end-to-end delivery of optimization solutions from prototype to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with 3+ years of industry experience, or a PhD in a related field
• Proven track record of taking optimization solutions from problem definition to production with measurable business impact
• Proficiency with at least one major optimization framework such as Google OR-Tools, Gurobi, or CPLEX
• Strong programming skills in Python, with C++ or Java as a plus
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including deploying and scaling computational workloads
