AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of secure and scalable AI solutions, the contract AI Platform Engineer will work remotely to build AI architectures, implement governance and compliance measures, and provide support for development teams in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and configure scalable AI platforms using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• Enable governance and guardrails by implementing policy-as-code and security controls to meet regulatory standards
• Support developers by creating templates and self-service tools for efficient AI solution development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of cloud/platform engineering experience, including 2+ years with Azure or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of AI/ML services and experience supporting regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI)
• Strong understanding of cloud identity, networking, encryption, and secrets management
