AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI solutions in a secure and scalable cloud environment, the contract AI Platform Engineer will work remotely to build and configure AI platforms, implement governance and guardrails, and support development teams with reusable tools and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and configure scalable AI cloud solutions using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• Enable governance by implementing policy-as-code and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Support developers by creating templates and self-service tools for rapid AI solution development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of cloud/platform engineering experience, including 2+ years with Azure or similar
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of AI/ML services and experience in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI)
• Strong understanding of cloud identity, networking, encryption, and secrets management
