AI Platform Technical Lead

Job Summary

Leading the technical direction for Blackbaud's internal AI platform, the full-time AI Platform Technical Lead will manage a team of Product Owners, guide agent design and workflow architecture, and ensure alignment between platform capabilities and business requirements in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical partner for value stream Product Owners, guiding agent design and architecture
• Translate business requirements into agent specifications for the engineering team
• Establish standards and governance for AI agent development across teams

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agent frameworks in an enterprise AI context
• Demonstrated AI fluency and experience in agentic workflow design
• Literacy in MCP server architecture and governance
• Familiarity with multiple Enterprise AI platforms such as Claude Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot
• Experience with AI governance, security, and compliance in an enterprise setting
