AI Policy Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the development and implementation of generative AI guidelines, the full-time AI Policy Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold content quality and ensure a safe user experience, working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Define, draft, and implement guidelines for generative AI content and products while balancing user and business needs
• Review generative AI use cases, document policy decisions, and maintain clear guidance for internal partners
• Assess generative AI models to ensure they meet content quality standards aligned with Pinterest's values

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in content policy, content standards, trust and safety, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Marketing, or a relevant field
• Familiarity with industry trends and legal developments related to generative AI and LLMs
• Strong communication skills to articulate strategies to executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
• Experience in building trusted relationships with cross-functional teams, including Policy and Legal partners
