AI Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and driven, the AI Principal Engineer will design and implement key AI-powered features, build intelligent agents, and drive technical architecture decisions in a remote, contracted-to-full-time role with a high-impact focus.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement key AI-powered features from architecture to production
• Build and evolve intelligent agents using modern LLM frameworks and related technologies
• Drive technical architecture decisions and ensure high code quality and reliability

Required qualifications

• Deep experience building AI/ML systems, particularly with LLMs in production
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling, including prompt engineering and vector databases
• Strong product instincts and a focus on solving real user problems
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
• Availability for a 6-day workweek with consistent overlap in US time zones
