AI Product Engineer

Job Summary

To build agentic capabilities on a petabyte-scale observability platform, the full-time remote AI Product Engineer will create agents that investigate incidents, write reusable skills for debugging, and own the agent stack end-to-end while collaborating with open-source contributors.

Key responsibilities

• Build agents that surface anomalies and investigate incidents in production environments
• Create a library of reusable skills for debugging and incident response
• Manage the entire agent stack, including context engineering and tool design

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1-2 years with LLM-powered systems or agents
• Strong backend skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python
• Hands-on experience building agents with multi-step tool use and error recovery
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write ClickHouse queries
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
