AI Product Engineer
Job Summary
Shaping the AI experience for users, the full-time remote AI Product Engineer will define behavior for Dia, implement prompt and code changes, and oversee evaluations to ensure quality and efficiency in AI product development.
Key responsibilities
- Shape Dia's AI experience by determining user behavior and implementing necessary changes
- Ship updates weekly by actively engaging with prompts, code, and data
- Systematically improve product quality through measurable evaluations and internal tooling development
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in product, design, or related roles with hands-on product development experience
- Ability to think in systems, breaking down ambiguous problems into measurable components
- Daily use of AI tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor, with a strong understanding of tooling choices
- Desire to work as an individual contributor, actively engaging in coding and product iterations
- Willingness to work within North American time zones with at least 4 hours of overlap with Eastern Time Zone
