AI Product Manager
Job Summary
As a contract AI Product Manager, the successful candidate will define the strategy and roadmap for Generative AI solutions, collaborating with engineering and application teams to translate operational challenges into innovative products, while working remotely from any U.S. location except for specific office-based roles in NY/NJ or Dallas.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for agentic AI systems
- Guide the end-to-end product lifecycle for large language models (LLMs), from discovery to launch and iteration
- Collaborate with production engineers and application teams to translate production challenges into a prioritized AI product roadmap
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10-15 years of overall experience, with significant time in product management, preferably for AI/ML or cloud-based products
- Strong understanding of the AI/ML development lifecycle, including LLMs and MLOps
- Proven ability to engage with engineering teams and create prioritized product roadmaps
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical visions to diverse audiences
