AI-Ready Knowledge Architect

Job Summary

To support the organization's data cataloging and AI readiness, the remote contract AI-Ready Knowledge Architect will design and maintain enterprise information architecture, enforce data modeling standards, and partner with business and technology teams to develop semantic models for analytics and AI use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the enterprise data domain model, taxonomy, and ontologies for semantic consistency and discoverability
• Design information and semantic models to make enterprise data AI-ready, supporting analytics and applied machine learning use cases
• Define and enforce standards for data modeling and semantic structures to ensure consistency and interoperability across business domains

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience with data, metadata, and reference data frameworks, including metadata management and data quality monitoring
• Experience in developing enterprise business glossaries, domain models, and ontologies to enable semantic consistency
• Understanding of how semantic models and metadata support applied AI and LLM use cases
• Strong business acumen in linking data to business processes and performance management
• Collaborative experience driving outcomes across data, analytics, and technology organizations
