AI Research Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled AI Research Engineer (Applied AI) for a full-time remote position, who will design and implement advanced machine learning systems to address complex business challenges while staying current with the latest AI research.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and evaluate applied AI solutions across various data domains
• Translate ambiguous business problems into well-scoped machine learning formulations with clear metrics
• Implement rigorous experimentation workflows and build production-quality training and inference pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• Six or more years of research and applied ML engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX
• Hands-on experience with training and evaluating deep learning models at scale
• Solid grounding in mathematics, statistics, and theoretical foundations of modern ML
