AI Research Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative solutions in a fully remote environment, the full-time AI Research Engineer (Applied AI) will design and evaluate advanced machine learning systems, translating business problems into effective ML formulations and building production-quality pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and evaluate applied AI solutions across various domains, including natural language and vision
• Translate ambiguous business problems into well-scoped ML formulations with clear success metrics
• Implement rigorous experimentation workflows and build production-quality training and inference pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a closely related field; or equivalent applied experience
• Six or more years of combined research and applied ML engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX
• Hands-on experience training and evaluating deep learning models at scale
• Experience taking ML models from research prototype to production with appropriate observability
