AI Research Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a new evaluation benchmark, the part-time remote AI Research Engineer will design, implement, and review complex research-engineering tasks while collaborating closely with researchers and utilizing internal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement original, complex research-engineering tasks and analyze experimental results
• Build and conduct comparative analysis tasks, summarizing findings in a collaborative environment
• Review and evaluate tasks created by peers to identify weaknesses and improve task clarity

Required qualifications

• MSc or PhD in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience in a research-heavy domain
• 1+ years of experience in a research or research engineering role
• Basic proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with Git and IDEs
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• A perfectionist mindset with high attention to detail and creativity in task design
