AI Research Scientist, Robotics

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time AI Research Scientist, Robotics, who will drive technical direction, define strategies for scaling tactile data, and innovate on full-stack systems within an applied research team focused on robotics and machine learning.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive technical direction for leveraging and fine-tuning robotic foundation models
• Define and execute a strategy for scaled tactile and multimodal data collection and integration
• Plan and execute research aligned with organizational objectives while mentoring other researchers

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Experience with tactile sensing, multimodal learning, or sensor fusion for robotics
• Experience with Vision-Language models (VLMs) or action-conditioned world models
• Experience in robot learning, reinforcement learning, or sim-to-real transfer
