AI Research Specialist

Job Summary

To establish an industry-leading AI Creative Production environment, the full-time AI Research Specialist will research and test AI tools, build playbooks for their use, and collaborate with production teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Research and test generative AI tools, documenting findings and best practices for the creative team
• Embed with production teams to identify high-friction moments where AI can enhance efficiency without compromising quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, engineering, and product teams on tool evaluation and adoption decisions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in editing TV spots or short-form video at a senior-editor level
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, or similar
• Active participation in AI creator communities on platforms like Discord, X, and Reddit
• Ability to conduct structured evaluations of tools and provide detailed reports on their effectiveness
• Strong documentation skills for creating prompt libraries and best-practice guides
