AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time AI Security Engineer will lead the design and implementation of security controls for AI and machine learning systems, focusing on threat models and incident response capabilities in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement security controls targeting risks associated with LLM and AI-powered applications
• Build threat models for AI systems, addressing vulnerabilities such as prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Design and deploy security measures, including guardrails and content filters, around model endpoints

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
• Six or more years of security engineering experience, particularly with AI or ML systems
• Strong understanding of LLM internals and modern AI architectures
• Hands-on experience in designing security controls for AI-powered applications
• Proficiency in Python and at least one systems programming language
