AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

To lead the design and implementation of security controls for AI systems, the full-time AI Security Engineer will work remotely, focusing on addressing security challenges related to large language models (LLMs) and AI-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement security controls targeting LLM and AI application risks
• Build threat models for AI systems, addressing issues like prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Design and deploy guardrails and policy enforcement layers around model endpoints

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
• Six or more years of security engineering experience, particularly with AI or ML systems
• Strong understanding of LLM internals and modern AI architectures
• Hands-on experience designing security controls for AI-powered applications
• Proficiency in Python and at least one systems programming language
