AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the part-time Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) and Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, implement, and optimize security automation capabilities while utilizing AI to improve cybersecurity response processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain security automation and orchestration capabilities across the Security Operations Center
• Develop automated workflows to reduce manual effort and improve response speed and operational consistency
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and engineers to identify and automate repetitive tasks for enhanced operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response processes, and API integrations
• Experience integrating SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and cloud security services
• Proficient in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs
• Understanding of SOC processes to effectively automate workflows
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CASP+, or CISSP
