AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the part-time Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) and Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, implement, and optimize security automation capabilities while leveraging AI for improved cybersecurity response processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain security automation and orchestration capabilities across the Security Operations Center
• Develop automated workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and incident responders to automate repetitive tasks and enhance response quality

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response processes, and API integrations
• Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and workflow automation tools
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly with Python and PowerShell
• Required certifications include Security+, CASP+, CISSP, or vendor-specific SOAR certifications
• Understanding of SOC processes to effectively automate workflows
