AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the part-time Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) and Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, implement, and optimize security automation capabilities while leveraging AI to improve response processes and manage security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain security automation workflows to improve response speed and operational consistency
• Integrate security tools and develop automated response actions in collaboration with SOC analysts and incident responders
• Transform manual workflows into scalable automated processes to enhance the effectiveness of the Security Operations Center (SOC)

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response processes, and API integrations
• Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and workflow automation tools
• Proficient in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs
• Understanding of SOC processes to effectively automate tasks
• Required certifications include Security+, CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent experience
