AI Security Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the safe integration of AI technologies, the full-time remote Applied AI Security Engineer will audit AI tool usage, design security guardrails, and collaborate with teams to implement secure workflows across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Audit AI tools and integrations, mapping their interactions with sensitive systems and data to define security policies
- Design and implement layered security measures, such as prompts and sandboxing, to manage AI behavior before user interaction
- Partner with users to integrate secure-by-default practices into AI-assisted workflows, ensuring written policies are actionable
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Professional software development experience with a solid understanding of services, APIs, and permissions
- Hands-on experience with AI coding/productivity tools in business-critical workflows
- Working knowledge of automotive security and safety standards, such as UNECE R155 and ISO 26262
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering teams
