AI Security Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading the engineering organization for AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Engineering Director will build and scale the team responsible for discovering AI agents, managing their identities, and controlling their actions, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the engineering roadmap for the AI security platform, overseeing agent discovery and authorization
• Build and lead a multi-team engineering organization, hiring and developing engineering managers and senior engineers
• Ensure the organization adheres to engineering standards and collaborates effectively with product and architecture teams

Required qualifications

• Typically 12 or more years in software engineering with experience leading engineering teams
• Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations and delivering complex backend products
• Strong technical expertise in identity, authorization, cloud security, or distributed systems
• Experience managing a product or platform area in partnership with product management
• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain engineering talent
