AI Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Managing multiple aspects of AI information security operations, the contract AI Security Operations Engineer will focus on securing AI/ML systems and infrastructure while collaborating with IT and AI/ML teams to enhance incident response and governance efforts in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the Security Operations and Engineering Team, ensuring the security integrity of mission-critical applications
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks for AI/ML security threats and monitor generative AI systems
• Participate in AI threat intelligence activities and conduct post-incident analysis for AI-related security events

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology or applicable experience
• 5+ years of experience in information security operations across multiple roles
• 2+ years of experience with AI/ML security, including securing LLMs and generative AI systems
• Extensive experience with TCP/IP, DNS, WAF, SEIM, and SOAR technologies
• Knowledge of emerging AI security standards and frameworks, including NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001
