AI Social Strategist

Job Summary

Building an AI-first social system, the full-time AI Social Strategist will enhance Hootsuite's organic social presence across various platforms while utilizing automation tools and social listening to drive insights and strategy, with the option for remote work in Canada and the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage an AI-driven social strategy across multiple platforms, automating processes to improve efficiency
• Conduct social listening and analysis to generate insights and inform quarterly content strategies
• Collaborate with the AEO team to enhance brand presence and performance metrics through innovative social programs

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or brand strategy roles, with a focus on strategic ownership
• Experience in building AI-augmented workflows using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies
• Proficiency with social media intelligence and listening platforms such as Talkwalker and Sprout
• Familiarity with AEO, SEO, or related brand-presence disciplines is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results and solve complex problems effectively
