AI Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and scaling the FiferINSPECT platform, the full-time AI Software Engineer will design and maintain the ecosystem, deploy applications on AWS and Azure, and implement CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with federal agency users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the FiferINSPECT ecosystem
• Deploy and manage containers on AWS and Azure, including client applications on Android devices
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker/Podman

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Proficiency in front-end Android development with Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with back-end development using Python and FastAPI for scalable applications
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor
