Leading architecture for large Azure programs, the remote Principal Architect AI SME will manage technical strategy, guide multi-team execution, and mentor senior architects while driving cloud modernization and AI adoption initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical strategy for Azure programs to ensure solutions meet client goals for value, security, and performance
- Guide major architecture decisions and promote shared design standards across multiple teams
- Mentor Senior Architects and Delivery Architects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in application development, cloud platform engineering, or data and analytics at enterprise scale
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading development teams at program scale
- Proven ability to set vision and lead enterprise-wide AI/ML adoption strategies
- Deep expertise in AI frameworks, cloud engineering, and modern development tools
- Experience leading hybrid and remote teams while maintaining alignment and quality across time zones
