AI Strategist

Job Summary

To support its AI initiatives, a full-time AI Strategist will build and maintain partnerships, develop external communications, and contribute to strategic growth efforts while working remotely or from various U.S. office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with practitioners, researchers, and organizations aligned with AIR's AI priorities
• Draft high-quality external communications, including white papers and presentations, related to AIR's AI work
• Monitor the AI landscape and provide strategic recommendations to inform AIR's engagement priorities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 4 years, or Ph.D. with 3 years in a related field
• Substantive knowledge of AI and its implications across sectors
• Experience in partnership development or strategy initiatives in nonprofit, government, or academic settings
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse partners
• Experience conducting market analysis or competitive intelligence to inform strategy
