AI Strategy Consultant

Job Summary

To support AI product strategy assessments across a private equity portfolio, two contracted AI Strategy Consultants will work remotely, conducting strategic assessments, identifying AI opportunities, and drafting deliverables for senior review over a duration of 9-12 weeks for one consultant and 4-5 weeks for the other.

Key responsibilities

• Perform AI strategic assessments for each portfolio company and aggregate findings across the portfolio
• Identify new AI opportunities and lead the development of prioritized roadmaps with clear action recommendations
• Compile and defend comparative scorecards and critiques for AI features, ensuring alignment with commercial outcomes

Required qualifications

• AI degree or equivalent applied background in technical and business-facing AI strategy
• Experience in identifying AI opportunities linked to commercial revenue outcomes
• Product or project management experience
• Fluency with AI-native tools to enhance research and synthesis
• Working knowledge of willingness-to-pay methodology and experience in investment committee fluency
