AI System Architect

Job Summary

To lead an enterprise-scale AI program, the full-time AI System Architect will define the architecture and governance model for AI integration across core platforms, manage AI Platform Engineers, and drive the development of intelligent automation and predictive analytics while working remotely or onsite in Boston.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise AI integration strategy, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation and generative AI capabilities
• Design and oversee integration architecture, including API strategies and governance models for AI connectivity across enterprise systems
• Manage and mentor AI Platform Engineers, setting technical standards and leading architectural reviews for citizen-built workflows

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise solutions architecture or systems integration with a proven track record of delivering integration platforms at scale
• Deep expertise with Workato or comparable iPaaS platforms, including governance configuration and operational management
• Experience building and integrating across CRM and ERP platforms at the enterprise level in production environments
• Hands-on experience designing or deploying AI/ML features in production, including agentic AI systems or predictive analytics
• Strong command of integration patterns and governance, including access control models and audit logging
