AI Systems Engineering Instructor

Job Summary

To support a growing program for experienced engineers transitioning into system architecture roles, the part-time AI Systems Engineering Instructor will host live sessions, review student projects, and provide architectural feedback while working remotely with flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Host weekly live sessions focused on system design and decision-making
• Run group office hours and provide 1:1 support for student projects
• Review student deliverables and provide structured architectural critiques

Required qualifications

• 5+ years as a senior software/systems architect or senior backend/infrastructure engineer
• Experience designing and shipping systems at scale in a professional setting
• Depth of knowledge in system design, API architecture, and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to explain architectural decisions and critique designs effectively
• Strong English proficiency for instruction and feedback in a US-based context
