AI Technical Lead

Job Summary

As a remote AI Technical Lead, the successful candidate will design and architect a stateful multi-layer AI-native product, establish development norms, and recruit a small senior team, all while actively building and overseeing the technical vision.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a multi-layer core intelligence architecture and data integration layer for AI-driven systems
• Establish an AI-native development culture and oversee weekly ship cycles with a focus on iteration
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a small team of Product Engineers as the product scales

Required qualifications

• Proven experience shipping complex, stateful AI or data-driven systems in production
• Fluency in LLM application development, including orchestration and prompt engineering
• Experience designing multi-agent systems with shared state and observability infrastructure
• Strong architectural judgment regarding the roles of rules and AI in system design
• Demonstrated ability to work at startup velocity with a bias toward action and high ownership
