AI Training Projects Lead

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end delivery of AI training projects, the full-time Strategic Projects Lead will partner with customers and internal stakeholders to manage project execution, develop sourcing strategies, and build scalable operational workflows in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of AI training projects, from initial scoping to successful execution, while assessing feasibility, timelines, and project risks
• Develop sourcing strategies for specialized contributor populations using UserTesting's network and external channels to meet customer needs
• Recruit, onboard, and oversee contributor communities, creating scalable workflows for onboarding, task distribution, and quality assurance

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects in operations, strategic programs, or related fields
• Proven experience managing projects with large external workforces, ideally in AI training or human data organizations
• Strong project management and analytical skills with a focus on operational metrics and project economics
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and build processes from the ground up
• Familiarity with AI training concepts such as annotation, quality assurance, and reinforcement learning environments is preferred
