Job Summary

To enhance Grok's multilingual audio capabilities, the part-time or full-time AI Tutor - Igbo will curate and annotate high-quality audio data, translate text from English to Igbo, and collaborate with technical teams to improve speech recognition and processing across diverse languages and accents in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide labels, annotations, and recordings for multilingual audio clips and voice recordings using proprietary software
• Translate and localize text strings from English into Igbo, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness
• Collaborate with technical staff to enhance the AI's ability to process speech modulation, accent variation, and real-world audio challenges

Required qualifications

• Native proficiency in Igbo with exposure to various accents and dialects
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) with clear vocal delivery suitable for audio recording
• Strong auditory perception to identify nuances in speech and audio quality
• Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio accurately across varying accents and quality
• Experience translating and localizing text accurately between English and Igbo, preserving meaning and tone
