Job Summary

As a full-time remote Air Quality Compliance Specialist, the candidate will secure air authorizations and ensure regulatory compliance for clean energy and power-infrastructure projects, driving permitting strategies and collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute air permitting strategies, including preparing permit applications and evaluating regulatory applicability under the Clean Air Act
  • Establish compliance monitoring protocols and prepare emissions inventories and regulatory reports for various agencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external consultants to integrate air compliance requirements into project designs
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in air quality permitting and regulatory compliance for industrial or power generation assets
  • Expertise in federal and state air regulations, including NSR, PSD, and RICE standards
  • Proficiency with air compliance tools and geospatial applications such as AERMOD, ArcGIS, and Google Workspace
  • Strong technical writing skills with experience in authoring air permit applications and regulatory filings
