Aircraft Cybersecurity Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer - Aircraft Cybersecurity Operations (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate with industry working groups and partners to review new aviation cybersecurity standards and recommendations
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor on aircraft operation cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
• Coordinate and build relationships with internal and external partners to drive key aviation cyber security initiatives and projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, STEM field preferred
• Strong cybersecurity expertise applied to aviation or relevant transportation and/or embedded systems domains
• 5 or more years of combined related experience in aircraft engineering, aircraft cybersecurity, or similar fields
• Proficient knowledge of aircraft avionics, cabin, propulsion systems, and/or airport/transportation operations
• Proficiency in aviation security regulations and standards
