Airframe Stress Analysis Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineer, Airframe Stress Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis of metallic and composite structural components to ensure structural integrity
• Author analysis documentation and structural test plans and reports
• Support multi-disciplinary configuration development and interface with various teams and authorities

Qualifications/Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience (or 1+ with M.S.)
• Knowledge of airframe static and fatigue stress analysis for composite and metallic structures
• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis methods; FEMAP experience is a plus
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6/3DX and ENOVIA V5/V6/3DX is a plus
